Poncho is a 6 year old mustang captured in Callaghan Range, Nevada. In May of 2011 Bobby went to pick up the two mustangs that he had adopted and realized that the gelding wasn’t available because of injury. The Mustang Heritage Foundation offered a replacement horse, Poncho. Bobby wasn’t very impressed with him but decide to take a chance on him. Right away a bond was formed and Poncho became part of the family. The Mustang Heritage Foundation is dedicated to facilitating successful placements for Americas excess wild mustangs and burros through innovative programs. In the last year he has performed to standing applause at: Poncho did very well in the 2011 Supreme Extreme Mustang Makeover, placing 4th in the finals, and he was voted Fan Favorite with twice as many text votes as anyone else! This little mustang has quite the personality and has been a lot of fun.
